Broman Cellars Sauvignon Blanc |
2006 Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley
The esteemed Beckstoffer property, Melrose Vineyards in Rutherford is the vineyard source for the 2006 Broman Sauvignon Blanc. The Broman philosophy in making Sauv Blanc is to let the fruit shine through. As such, this wine was cold fermented in a small stainless steel tank with no malolactic fermentation or barrel aging.
Alcohol: 13.7 percent Total Cases Produced: 302
Winemaker’s Notes: Aromas of lemongrass and citrus are framed by delicate undertones of honeysuckle in this bright and refreshing wine. Flavors of Meyer lemon, grapefruit and honeydew melon give this wine a crisp and rounded flavor with a clean finish. The fresh acidity in the wine will hold up to many different cuisines, but this is also the perfect accompaniment to warm summer afternoons. |
