The 2006 Pinot Noir shows aromas of bing cherry, plum, cola and clove. Aromas repeat on the palate with the addition of subdued vanilla and raspberry. Focused bright acidity highlights the cooler growing season and frames the silky texture of this vintage.
This wine is a delicious accompaniment to a traditional lamb dish like Shepherd's Pie and we also recommend it with grilled salmon, veal dishes or Exotic Mushroom Pâté. |
