Petite Sirah

2003 Grands Amis Petite Sirah

Awards: 2006 California State Fair - Gold Medal winner (94 points). This Petite Sirah is probably the biggest of its class around. With a blackberry nose this wine appears to be very modest, until it reaches your mouth. It will awake all your senses!
With a complex taste of dark berry fruits and a liquorice undertone. Big tannins are well integrated with the French Oak and the 16% alcohol.
This wine has been aged for 27 months in 80% French Oak and 20% American Oak of which 60% was new barrels and 40% second fill.
Alcohol 16%
Total production: 100 cases
