Booker Vineyard
Syrah

2005 Vertigo
Paso Robles

90% Syrah, 10% Grenache.
The Grenache and Syrah complement each other with deep ruby purple color, smokey cassis notes, hints of pepper and roasted herbs. Elegant, medium to full-bodied, and moderately tannic, it should age nicely for 10-12 years.

Strong nose, I thought I was going to be drinking a rich, full bodied cabernet. The first taste was luscious berry and spice. It melted into my tongue and had an extremely long, salivating finish.
Pairs well with mildly flavored meats
