To create the 2006 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, grapes were hand-harvested from our vineyards. Crafted using traditional Burgundian techniques, including fermentation in small tanks, hand punch-downs and aging in 60-gallon French oak barrels, this Pinot Noir is an elegant example of this varietal.
The cool, foggy Russian River Valley climate allows for slow ripening, enabling the grapes to develop full flavor maturation over an extended time.
This wine offers classic Russian River Valley aromas of cola with dark fruit and notes of barrel spice. Flavors of black cherry, violet and a note of cinnamon unfold on the palate. This Pinot is silky smooth with a supple finish that glides across the palate.
