This is a varietally distinct wine enhanced by the soils and climate of the Monterey appellation. This Riesling is full of honeysuckle and floral lychee aromas. I can't trust 2% of sugar. It seems the sugar/acid ratio is quite high. By other words the wine would need a little bit more acid (or less sugar?). The wine could be perfect for people, who do not like white wines, to change their mind.
