For those of you who prefer a buttery style of chardonnay with a floral nose and huge fruit finish, without the astringency of the oak finish, this may be the perfect wine for you. This wine can be described as fruit-forward with strong flavors of pear and pineapple with the a-fore mentioned buttery texture and flavor many desire. Fruit-forward is not to be confused with fruity or sweet. This is a big fruit wine with a dry but not acidic finish. It pairs well with shellfish, especially shrimp scampi.
