New Packaging Release!
July 2, 2008

Morgan Hil, California - Mountain View Vintners Unveils New Packaging

NOVATO, California—Mountain View Vintners officially releases this week the new packaging for its core brand, Mountain View Vintners. In continuing to upgrade its brand image and increase consumer brand recall, Mountain View Vintners has created a more contemporary label in comparison to the current packaging. The year 2008 is one of great changes at Mountain View as the “Bonanno brothers” (Matt Bonanno and Pietro Bonanno, although not related and have never before met) are aggressively upgrading the business model through consolidating national distribution and sales (Matt Bonanno) while at the same time injecting marketing saveur into the brand (Pietro Bonanno). The new package is one of many projects currently managed by Marketing Manager Pietro Bonanno whom previously worked for the Italian coffee maker illy at its international headquarters in Triest, Italy.

The most evident change is the color infused label which gives life to the package. The brand name has been re-aligned so that consumers first notice the logo which is eye-catching. Secondly, their attention is brought to the image, a view of soft rolling hills and vineyards with white-capped and purple-hued mountains in the distance. Vintage, varietal and appellation are now strategically placed below the image in order to communicate to consumers the product’s content. To make our wines more individualistic, each varietal will have a different colored capsule.

Mountain View Vintners was one of the first negociants in California and has proudly remained a family-owned and operated institution. hrough its 30 years of producing unbeatable quality-value wines, it has nurtured solid relationships with some of the state’s most respected growers. Mountain View Vintners sources its grapes only from prestigious California appellations; Central Coast, Monterey County, Amador County, Lake County, Carneros and Napa County.
