We are looking for a communication specialist to write outstanding material
for Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines.

Purpose:
· To write and develop brand materials that are creative, consistent and commercially focused.
· Ensure timely production of written materials, including all wine fact sheets and eLearning scripts. Will also write other brand materials as needed.
Decision Making:
· Ability to hit all deadlines and deliver materials on time.
· Ensure consistent and error free written materials.
· Determine how to communicate brand essence.
Complexity of Role:
. Creative writing, excellent editing skills necessary.
· Must have strong wine knowledge and the ability to write clear and consistent materials.
· Understanding of wine, production, marketing, sales and consumer insights.
· Ability to work with winemakers to gather important production information.
Key Outputs/Deliverables:
· Maintain timely creation of all wine fact sheets for new vintage transitions – must be creative, descriptive and error free.
· Write scripts for all new eLearning modules, including updates to existing modules and new brand launches.
· Write other brand materials as necessary, including back label copy, brochures, and media sample letters.
Qualifications: Experience:
· 5-7 yrs of wine industry experience – supplier, wholesale, retail or hospitality – coupled with a strong understanding of winemaking, production, sales and industry trends.
· Highly skilled writer with excellent communication skills.
· Must have experience writing wine fact sheets and other wine specific written materials.
· Must be proficient in spelling, grammar, proofreading and punctuation.
· Must have experience managing multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
· BA required - English or journalism preferred
