Friday morning Tasting Seminars will explore The New Frontiers of Pinot Noir ~ The New and Emerging AVA’s and The Pioneers of Pinot Noir ~ The Origins of West Coast Pinot Noir. Afternoon Seminars include Vineyard & Tasting Tours at local wineries and will focus on micro/meso climates, soil diversity and clonal experimentation. Other highlights include the “Iron Sommelier Challenge” food and wine pairing seminar, a "New World Pinot Noir and Artisan Cheeses of the New World" seminar, two gala dinners, two grand tastings, and a unique opportunity to taste the wines of Burgundian producers, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé and Domaine Michel Gros.
