Job Description:
We are seeking a Wine Sales Associate who is enthusiastic, professional and knowledgeable about wine. Prior wines sales experience is helpful because the position requires assisting customers with all of their wine purchasing needs. This includes locating specific wines, recommending a particular style or label that will suit the consumer’s occasion. The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, handle stock, help maintaining the sales floor, applying surveillance for underage persons and assisting in janitorial duties. A successful candidate must be a skilled communicator with a diverse customer base to ensure that each consumer has the best possible shopping experience.
A Retail Wine Sales associate provides friendly customer service in a fast paced, physically demanding, multifaceted role; efficiently processes high volume transactions on a computerized POS system. This position requires night, weekend and holiday availability.
Some knowledge of craft beers and spirits are a plus.
