Job Description:
We are an exclusive, new to the market, New York distributor and marketing team, for German fine wines. Our Company represents highly-awarded still and sparkling wines from family-owned wine estates. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing, closing & following up on all new & existing accounts. You must be professional in your delivery and appearance. As a Wine Account Executive you must be committed to achieving bi-weekly, monthly & quarterly product goals that are set by the company. Key Responsibilities: -Contacting and visiting in person, the new accounts (DEVELOPMENT) -Executing sales and shelf/menu space negotiation at all new & existing accounts (EXECUTION) -Follow up at each account on a bi-weekly basis to review product turnover (FOLLOW-UP) -Achieve all bi-weekly, monthly & quarterly goals set by the company (COMMITMENT) -Collect any past-due payments for company invoices (COLLECTION) -Take responsibility for executing promotional acitivities/events (tasting, industry events, trade shows) -Provide the company management with market intelligence (sales trends, product developments, competitor activities) -Provide prompt and professional customer service to every account upon request -Demonstrate full commitment and company loyalty -Be present at staff meetings

Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience: -Basic understanding of the Food & Beverage industry -Must be comfortable with being fingerprinted by The State of New York, and giving a ten year history of employment and residence (mandatory for permits) -Strong communication & negotiation skills (verbal and written) -Self motivated and committed to company goals -Ability to manage all tasks in a prioritized manner -Excellent organization skills, accurate and detailed oriented -Must have access to a computer and internet -Must be willing to obtain Solicitor permit at own expense
