Job Description:
The Lodge at Woodloch is a destination spa located in the Northeast Lake region of Pennsylvania. Shortly after our June 2006 opening, Forbes online named The Lodge at Woodloch one of the “10 Most Luxurious Spas in the United States.” Insider’s Guide 2006 listed The Lodge as one of the “100 Best Spas of the World.” The Lodge at Woodloch is seeking a full-time Dining Room Manager to lead our gourmet restaurant, Tree, in its day-to-day operations and to assist in the Food & Beverage Manager in all assigned duties. The Dining Room Manager is responsible for: ensuring that all quality standards, policies/procedures and administrative requirements are adhered to, assisting in the hiring, training, and disciplining of staff, writing and conducting all annual performance appraisals for the Dining Room staff, writing staff’s schedule according to business demands, properly communicating with necessary parties, coordinating group events, and ensuring the overall success of Tree. Full-time Team Members are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurances, Paid Time Off, holiday pay, free meals, use of fitness facilities, and much more! Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have leadership and fine-dining experience, extensive wine knowledge (both foreign and domestic), along with a Bachelor’s degree in restaurant management, or a similar field.
