2005 Cabernet Sauvignon - "Nebula"

This wine has a beautiful, dark ruby color. The nose is filled with aromas of dark cherry and plum accented with oak and spice. Full bodied in the mouth with flavors of black cherr ...morey, plum, and blackberry joined together with a dash of spice. The firm tannins follow through and shape the long finish of berries, mixed with oak and a minerally spiciness. This wine deserves a juicy, grilled ribeye!

The rich mouthfeel is filled with essences of black cherry, plum, black raspberry, leather and an array of spices that mingle playfully on the palate. All that, and, an impossibly long finish residing within a firm framework of oak and tannins!

This yummy treat has a dark garnet red color almost seeming black. The nose is an interesting array of black fruit, peach cobbler, minerals and spice. The mouthfeel is full with fl ...moreavors of sweet black cherry, cinnamon, currants, ginger spice and intermingling minerals. The finish is long and tempts you to take another sip. This is a mouth filling dessert wine that will pair extremely well with a wide variety of desserts. Chocolate is a natural pairing but it also goes well with any fruit based dessert. The fruit is 100% Zinfandel grown on the Midnight Estate Vineyard and was harvested at 29.5Â° brix.

The color is astonishingly dark and the nose is beautifully aromatic with ultra ripe fruit, candied apricots and caramel. The mouthfeel is huge and smooth with flavors of blueberri ...morees, dates, cassis and raisins blending with chocolate, caramel, raspberry and allspice to create a complex experience. Sweet spicy oak lingers well into the next sip. A natural for blueberry cheesecake, dark chocolate cakes, or a fine cigar!

2006 Chardonnay, Nielson Vineyard
Santa Maria Valley

This small bottling of Chardonnay comes from a vineyard I have worked with for more than 20 years. Planted by pioneer, Uriel Nielson in 1964, this property is Santa Barbara Countyâ ...more€™s oldest vineyard. The old vines are especially expressive, so a minimalist approach to winemaking allows the character and integrity of the fruit to shine through. The wine was 100% barrel fermented with native yeasts, and underwent 100% malolactic fermentation. This Chardonnay aged sur lie for 10 months in French oak, with 13% new oak in the barrel mix.

This Chardonnay is silky and elegant with fresh aromas of gala apple, lemon blossom and honeysuckle, which will gradually evolve into aromas of honey, pear and hazelnut as the wine develops. A rich mouth feel and opulent mid-palate are beautifully balanced by bright natural acidity, a trademark of Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay. The wine culminates in a silky, seamless finish.
