Miriam Detailed Profile |
2006 Miriam Napa Valley
This wine was produced 100% from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in Atlas Peak in southeastern Napa Valley at an elevation of 1500-1600 ft. These grapes mature 2-3 weeks later than the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on the floor of the Napa Valley. The longer "hang time" and smaller yield produce richer, more intense wine with deeper color. 275 cases were produced.
The wine was aged 28 months in New French Oak barrels. This is our finest wine.

2008 Pinot Noir
2008 Mario Perelli-Minetti Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 280 cases were produced
We are pleased to present our second Pinot Noir. A flawless example of why Sonoma Coast is the perfect climate for Pinot Noir. Well structured with acid and tannins, this wine exhibits earthy tea tones and soft sweet leather spices, balanced with an abundance of dried strawberries and black cherries. Aged in 30% new French oak and the remainder in used French oak. Medium bodied mouth feel. This wine is dry and also made for food.
