2000 Miriam

This wine was produced 100% from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in Atlas Peak in southeastern Napa Valley at an elevation of 1500-1600 ft. These grapes mature 2-3 weeks later than the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on the floor of the Napa Valley. The longer "hang time" and smaller yield produce richer, more intense wine with deeper color.

The wine was aged 30 months in New French Oak barrels. This is our finest wine.

It is lean and crisp, produced 100% from Napa Chardonnay grapes grown in the Yountville area made in the style of the fine French White Burgundies. 30% of the grapes were barrel fermented and aged on the lees in French oak barrels.

Aged in 30% new French oak and the remainder in used French oak. Medium bodied mouth feel. This wine is dry and also made for food.
