|Details: The Earth Day Food & Wine Festival is an intimate celebration featuring earth friendly cuisine, sustainably produced wines, live entertainment and educational exhibits highlighting innovative products. The award winning foods and wine featured are grown on local Central Coast farms committed to environmentally friendly practices that protect both our natural resources and communities.
The Festival is the only event of its kind in the country and is a unique opportunity to visit with the growers who grow great foods, wines and nurture a healthy environment. A silent auction will feature a variety of lifestyle packages and products.
The Earth Day Food & Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 1pm to 5pm at the historic Santa Margarita de Cortona Asistencia in Santa Margarita, CA. Established in 1787, this historic ranch is nestled amid the rolling hills and vineyards of California’s scenic Central Coast. The Asistencia’s authentic rural character acts as an ideal setting for this unique and personal event.
Tickets are limited to preserve the intimate nature of the event. Advance booking is recommended. Ticketholders will receive an Earthwise Bag with over $50 of products provided by Method Home, Dry Soda, PG&E, SoyJoy, Fiji Water, Bob’s Red Mill, CCM Wine Club, Mehlenbachers Taffy, Chefs Collaborative, Backyard Harvest, S&S Seeds, Central Coast Lavender, CCVT and Natural Life Magazine.
