Location: Dry Creek Kitchen Healdsburg, CA95448 | Details: To honor the commencement of pig and wild boar season, Dry Creek Kitchen will feature their third annual “Pigs & Pinot” celebration. Renowned Chef Charlie Palmer is bringing together an internationally diverse group of chefs and winemakers to celebrate the pairing of specially-created pork dishes and the fabulous pinot noir selections for which Sonoma County is known. All proceeds will be split between two beneficiaries: Share Our Strength, a U.S. nonprofit organization committed to ending childhood hunger, and Saint John’s School in Healdsburg.
Friday, March 14: Taste Around–Opening Night Celebration, Dry Creek Kitchen; 6:30–9 p.m.; $100 per person
Sample over 50 Pinots Noirs paired with delicious pork dishes created by Charlie Palmer and various celebrity guest chefs.
Saturday, March 15: Exclusive Cooking Class with Charlie Palmer; Relish Culinary School, 10–12 p.m.; $150 per person
Including a gourmet lunch at 12:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 15: Pigs & Pinot Gala Dinner, Hotel Healdsburg; 6:30–9:30 p.m.; $300 per person
An elegant five-course dinner with pork as the featured ingredient prepared by Charlie Palmer, Mike Ellis and various celebrity guest chefs. The dinner will be paired with rare Pinot Noirs from France, Sonoma, Australia and New Zealand including Kosta Brown, William Seylem, Dutton Estate, Sonoma’s Radio-Coteau and many more. Dinner will be followed by music, dancing and drinks in Hotel Healdsburg’s lobby.
