Details: We are inviting you to attend our Sparkling Wine & Food pairing on September 22, 2007. Some think it is difficult to have sparkling wine with food – it is not and you will see! Chef Shannon Hughes (former owner/chef of Pangaea) will present wonderful foods to pair with sparkling wines – it is meant to be educational as well as fun. It will also be limited to a certain number of people to allow more one-on-one discussion. Following is a sample menu from past events: Braised red Belgium endive, steamed tiny new potatoes, salmon caviar, preserved lemon essence Roederer Estate Anderson Valley Brut Magnum A tart comprised of ripe black figs, Bellwether Farms Crescenza cheese and Kalamata Olives Roederer Estate Extra Dry Lamb shanks slow roasted with Rouge d' Hiver Pumpkin in pomegranate molasses, wild cranberries and Moroccan spices Roederer Estate 1999 L’ Ermitage Schiacciata Late Harvest Grapes Roederer Estate Brut Rosé The cost of the Tasting will be a mere $85 per person – all inclusive.
