Details: On Friday April 27th and Saturday April 28th of 2007 the Vines to Wines club of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo will be hosting the 5th annual Cal Poly Wine Festival and Golf Classic. This is a great fundraising event for the Club and Viticulture program at Cal Poly. Thanks to our sponsors and festival attendees we were able to raise over $5000 in 2006. This event truly represents the Cal Poly motto of “Learn by Doing.” The festival is designed, planned and run by Cal Poly students. It includes wine tasting from over 90 wineries from all over California, gourmet food from several Central Coast restaurants, great music and a silent auction. Friday, April 27th will kick off with the Golf Classic at Cypress Ridge Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 10:30 am and a BBQ to finish the day. The Wine Festival will be held Saturday, April 28th from 1-4pm at the Historic Santa Margarita Ranch. We look forward to seeing you in April!
