Details: Ever wonder what goes in to planning and planting a new vineyard? What are the modern techniques used to be ecologically sensitive and viticulturally perfect? Want to see one in process? Join us on Saturday August 25th for a fun and educational visit to Cakebread Cellars newest vineyard project at Suscol Springs Vineyard in south Napa. Cakebread’s viticulturist Toby Halkovich will lead the discussion and short hike as we view this 160 acre ranch. Gorgeous views suggest that you bring a camera along with layered clothing, a hat and shoes that can hike. We’ll conclude the visit with a lakeside B-B-Q lunch at our Foster Road Vineyard in Carneros.
Meet promptly at 9:30 AM in Carneros for a 10 minute bus ride to Suscol Springs Ranch. Lunch will conclude by 2:00 PM. Guests limited to two per club member.
Location: Napa Valley
