| Details: Please join Bay Grape in welcoming Matthiasson & Smith-Madrone Wines for a very special class on Napa Valley terroir and the changing face of Napa winemaking, led by Jill Matthiasson of Matthiasson wines and Stu Smith of Smith-Madrone. Jill and Stu craft benchmark wines that flaunt terroir and eschew the "bigger is better" ball game, and they'll each bring two of their wines to feature in this class. This event is part of the Oakland Wine Festival year-long wine tasting and classes kick-off soirées, and a portion of the proceeds from the class will benefit the OWF, coming to our fine city this fine summer.
After the class, they'll each pour two of their wines at a public tasting from 7:30-9:30pm ($25 to taste all four wines; no reservation/tickets necessary). |
