| Details: Join the Family Winemakers of California on August 17 for an educational seminar and blind taste test featuring world-renowned Master Sommelier, Evan Goldstein. The seminar dubbed “Not the Usual Suspects,” will be held prior to the Family Winemakers annual tasting event and explores “Unexpected Wines from Expected Places/Producers” as well as “Expected Wines from Unexpected Places/Producers.” The educational seminar and blind taste test will be held from 11:30 a.m until 12:30 p.m. at the San Mateo County Event Center.
The Family Winemakers of California’s San Mateo tasting brings together 160 small family owned California wineries, and gives attendees the unique opportunity to interact with the actual winemakers. After 23 years hosted in San Francisco, this will be the first year the tasting is held in San Mateo. Family Winemakers ... Taste California!
