Tuesday, March 19th join us as we host an exciting wine dinner featuring Joseph Phelps wines at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park. In attendance will be special guests Bill Phelps and Elizabeth Neuman, son and granddaughter of Joseph Phelps. Nearly four decades after being founded, Joseph Phelps Vineyards has produced thirty four vintages, twenty nine of which have been rated ninety or more points by various wine publications. Dinner will begin at 8:00 pm, with a four course menu that has been designed to harmonize with each wine selection. The menu consists of the following:
First Course
Sautéed Scallops
Corn, Smoked Bacon and Potato Hash, Bulls Blood Micro Greens
Paired with 2009 & 2010 Joseph Phelps Chardonnay, Freestone Vineyards
Second Course
Veal Medallions
Braised Spinach, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Lingonberry Jus
Paired with 2009 Joseph Phelps Pinot Noir, Freestone Vineyards
Third Course
Honey Glazed Short Rib
Baby Heirloom Carrots, Potato Parsnip Puree
Paired with 2009 Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Fourth Course
Duet of Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brulée and Meringue Lemon Curd Tart
Paired with 2010 Joseph Phelps Eisrebe, Napa Valley
