| Details: Join us at the tasting counters this Saturday, June 9th, from 12-4PM for a taste of two small-production Napa wines we're loving this summer: Amici Sauvignon Blanc and Meander Cabernet Sauvignon from husband and wife winemakers Joel and Amy Aiken.
Amici Sauvignon Blanc: $17.99 on sale
With 50% Sauviginon Blanc from Calistoga and 50% of the Sauvignon Musque clone from St. Helena, this wine sings with crisp minerality and citrus balanced by the richness of guava, spice and honeysuckle. Made by former BV winemaker Joel Aiken, this is quite the find for a Napa Sauvignon Blanc of this caliber under $20!
Meander Cabernet Sauvignon: $64.99
Winemaker Amy Aiken earned her chops making Cabernet at Joseph Phelps before going on her own to make a Cabernet from the prestigious Morsoli vineyard in Rutherford and Lewelling Vineyard in St. Helena. Mouthfilling black fruit and licorice are backed by fine-grained and well-integrated tannins that give this wine some backbone for the long haul. A real find that you're not likely to come across often on the East Coast.
