What happens when the cat’s away?
From what I hear, the mice will play.
Well, I’m the cat. And I’m going away.
Vacation, actually, so I’ll be back.
But still. I’m concerned about those mice.
You see, Bill and Jayna like to party.
They like to pull great wines off the shelves
and open them without provocation.
They like to encourage wanton, wicked
behavior.
I may come back to find the place in
a shambles, the wine all gone, and
my brother in jail. It could happen.
So for the NCWC tasting this Friday, 7/15,
all I can tell you is the time’s from 4-10 pm
and the cost is $15. Other than that,
I don’t have a clue what’s gonna go down.
I don’t know what the wines will be, or
what the food will be. They won’t tell me.
I’m a little scared.
So do me a favor. Come hang out for a while.
Make sure things don’t get too insane.
A little insane is okay. Maybe even moderately
insane. Just make sure the place is still standing.
