Oakland, CA 94607 | | Click here to map directions | | Details: DETAILS: Whether you are celebrating the solstice weekend, an early Father’s Day, or just your love of great wine, the Dashe Cellars Carnaval Summer Open House is the place to be on June 19! Dashe Cellars’ Carnaval will spotlight authentic Brazilian BBQ from Espetus Churrascaria, swinging music, and best of all, over a dozen wines including sneak-peek barrel samples of future Dashe releases. The winery will also be featuring its new 2009 Les Enfants Terribles series (including the McFadden Farm Zinfandel, the Heart Arrow Ranch Zinfandel and the Dry Creek Valley Grenache), along with the 2008 Todd Brothers and 2008 Florence Zinfandels. For the younger set, the event will also have a special kid zone with festive balloons and arts and crafts.
ADMISSION: Online tickets are available for the event at www.dashecellars.com for $30 ($25 for Dashe Cellars wine club members or members of Zinfandel Advocates and Producers). Tickets will also be available at the door for $40 ($35 for wine club or ZAP members). Entry includes wine tastings, food, and a complimentary Riedel glass.
