Details: After helping to pioneer a more intimate and luxurious sit-down approach to exploring fine wine, Duckhorn Wine Company has dedicated itself to setting a new standard for food and wine pairing. On November 20th, the new Holiday 2009 menu will be launched for both the educational Food For Thought experience at Duckhorn Vineyard, and An Unpredictable Pair culinary exploration at Paraduxx. Both tasting experiences feature new multi-course, wine-paired holiday menus designed by executive chef Richard Haake, and highlight seasonal organic and local ingredients prepared in-house daily. Duckhorn Vineyards will be serving Pomegranate Glazed Lamb Meatballs with its Napa Valley Merlot, a Goat Cheese, Leek, and Pancetta Tart paired with the Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, along with three other food and wine combinations. Paraduxx will be offering Cola-Glazed Ham with Blackberry Jam & Pepper Biscuit paired with the flagship Paraduxx, and a Crostini of Smoked Duck with Quince & Cranberry paired with the Canvasback, as well as two other wine-paired dishes. |
